How will AI impact cybersecurity?

AI causes various cyber security risks and threats. Threat actors can compromise existing AI systems and can use AI to perform a persistent cyber attack. The biggest threat comes from the first category: by manipulating data and/or algorithms the outcomes of the AI system may change in a way that can  have enormous real life consequences. AI can also be used to do social engineering attacks, a more advanced form of disinformation to influence public opinion and potentially disrupt democratic processes.
